SMExpoJax is Northeast Florida’s half-day social media and digital marketing conference, co-presented by the UNF School of Communication and Kairos Digital Marketing. Each year, practitioners, business owners, agency teams, and marketing professionals come together for focused sessions, real-world frameworks, and conversations that carry past the event.
In 2026, SMExpoJax takes on brand voice. Most brands have one. Far fewer can actually describe it, document it, or hand it off to someone to write for them without losing it. This year, attendees will experience a hands-on workshop that guides them through a framework for defining how their brand sounds, capturing it, and keeping it consistent no matter who’s writing.

Is parking free? Where should I park?
Yes! Free parking is available at the Herbert University Center.
Free parking is available at the Herbert University Center. The parking lot is immediately adjacent to the building in both the front and back of the building. See parking details here.
What time does registration open?
Registration opens at 8:45 AM, and the event begins at 9:15 AM.
What should I bring?
Mobile devices, laptops, and any tools—digital or physical—for note-taking are encouraged.
Will food or drinks be provided?
Yes! Coffee, tea, and water throughout the event
Who is hosting the event?
SMExpoJax 2026 is hosted by the University of North Florida School of Communication in partnership with Kairos Digital, a Jacksonville-based marketing agency that helps businesses grow with clear strategies and creative content.
Can I record or live stream the sessions?
